.... I seems like only yesterday that great Spanish teams used to make our best look average ( Barca 4 - 0 Man U .... Romaio etc etc) and now the 3rd place english team make Real Madrid just look shite! ... It's amazing what billions of pounds worth of investment will do...

We were dreadful first half, the midfield resembled a bunch of ball-watching grandmas... Ballack was particularly shit, Frank had a pretty good second half once he started seeing a bit more of the ball and Essien was excellent (and on his first game back in the team)... Good to have Ricci back too... Think we deserved to go through... Could see the Madrid rout coming, they were shockingly bad against Atletico at the weekend... I reckon we'll get Liverpool in the quarters (again)...
