  • Also last night, Prav, doing his best impression of a mobile bike rack in Acton. We had a trackstand off but he must have been in the zone and didn't recognise me until I screamed at him.

    ^that was a high-pressure trackstand-off!
I had a bike frame over my shoulder and you had a helmet on.
In my mind it was just another battle in the Bikester-Nodder War.

  • Guy with black hair on a blue framed bike (didn't make out more than that) about 1000 at the Golden Hind nr Clink Street on the cobbles.

  • Black Cotsworth with pink gran compe tires/ pink grips locked up on the corner of stoney st. saw it yesterday next to HSBC. Anyone on here?

  • Spagettihoops (otherwise known as Donut!) rustbucket locked outside on Great Eastern Street.

  • also guy on black condor ss, beard, black hat, campy shorts, turned right onto tower bridge.

Sounds like me... it's fixed btw...

  • Probably some of the Hackney unicycling lot. They're totally brilliant. There are a few that do commute by unicycle. Some of the (West London) Lunis do, as well.

  • Coppithat down Brick Lane on Saturday after the memorial ride looking well suave!

  • walworth road - E&C - then waterloo road is becoming the new bethnal green road - old street O - clerkenwell road. really, it is. so many fixed. too many to mention.

  • There was a unicyclist riding east out my way on Uxbridge rd. near Acton. He had some kind of fund-raising sign stuck to his back. I gave him a thumbs up as I passed.

No doubt you really meant to put your hand in your pocket but experienced a regrettable motor co-ordination fail? Fundraising/thumb-raising fail. ;)

  • a nice lady gave me a smile as i was going through ludgate circus around 5.
a couple of minutes later i noticed that the piece of toilet roll i'd been blowing my nose on was hanging out of my pocket and trailing behind me like a streamer.

  • Met londonslgg yesterday, but truthfully he spotted me.

Although I had seen him around before, you do see alot of new courier faces, but not many that last more than a month or so.

sounds like couriers are the coal miners of the modern age ;)

  • the twenty-minute'ers

  • I prefer to think of myself as a cowboy, just as the golden age of cowboy-ing is dying. There's allot people out there in hats and boots, but not many who actually want to heard the cows. Not that I blame them, it's allot more fun and lucrative to wear the gear and ride the horses while holding down a proper job, partner.

I don't know what he was raising funds for.. If he was faster I would've had longer to read the sign. :P

I only know it was fund raising because I saw the same sign on the back of a jogger a couple of days before.

  • the twenty-minute'ers

to be honest I didn't think I would last this long. I'm not too sure how it happened.
