hey, carrying such a co2 thingy around for the odd commute flatty occasion, is it reliable enough for say months in the bag and used only in the emergency case? like no co2 leaking out over time or sth that would let me down in the moment i need it to get home late after say SE beers?

I carry them around for months in between use. I don't think it can leak as the top is sealed and only broken when screwing in the part that goes onto the valve. They don't have a shelf life that I am aware of.

cheers kerly, so it could be well considered an addition in my set of nick nacks i carry around every day. atm i rely on a cheepo zefal jet-t pump to break my valves ;) but it's a hassle to get above 90psi really.
