hey, you know you can make that black seatpost/stem into silver, if you're up for a little more work.
get some caustic soda, mix it with hot water, drop parts in for a few mins, take out, sand them and polish.
seatpost will be easy due to its shape.

the-smiling-buddha how does it ride lee, is it fast, do you find it 'twitchy'...?
Super twitchy !!
So far I have only gone around our (very small) garden and a few rides up and down the street, but it is very very maneuverable, super small turing circle, you can pull the front wheel up into the air with the slightest flick (a bit too easy) - but all in all great fun.
I might stick my little Garmin GPS thing on the handle bars tomorrow and see how fast I can get it going on the flat.
What is really cool is I can ride it around my (tiny) flat.

You tried rotafixing the cog on? The page with the instructions on (the one without a domain name that links to an IP address) says that because you can get the cog on way tighter than with a chainwhip a lockring is no longer needed.

The Dahon with the bars cut narrow has that twitchy feeling too it is however surprisingly fast although I still haven't the confidence to chuck it around like a big bike.. i am in Chicago right now - I have had a 20inch wheel built on an eno hub - so soon it will be properly fixed - one thing I did notice is that you can ride it right past policeman whilst riding on the pavement - next I have to fit up a rack and a shopping bag - because now that I have a shopping bike I want to go shopping with it

leeww
threedaymonk * Leeww's fancy designer kitchen looks bigger than my entire flat!
That is my flat ! There is not much more. I made it all myself (as you might have guessed from the orange paint on the wall), most of is from skips, the sink and all the plumbing was from skips, the only posh bit are the silver doors which were around £20 each from ikea. The kick board at the bottom is just a spare floor board.
Nice shopper by the way, I am looking for one to ruin as we speak.
Nice job. Skip hunting rocks!

You're in Chicago? Whereabouts? And will you be there still in two weeks? I'm coming to town and bringing my bike. I'll be up near Wicker Park.
