Posting bank account details on-line is incredibly dangerous. Ask people to email you for them or something, but don't put them on-line.
Even with just bank details people can scam you out of money by simply using your details to pay for direct debits. It works, and the system doesn't detect it for at least a month (when you see the statement after and realise).
So do one of these things instead:
1) PayPal
2) Cheques and Postal Orders
3) If you have to do transfers get people to contact you for the details of the bank account
