Might still put this up in the classifieds, not sure it's valid as non-bike stuff so here goes:

I'm broke at the moment and I think I need to try and sell some stuff to tide me over.

So I have a small selection of rare, fairly rare and rareish soul and jazz breaks and hip hop for sale. They are all lps or 12 inches and some of them just don't come up very often any more.

They'll be going up on ebay next week but I thought I'd run them past anyone on here first who might be interested.

It would be cash and London ideally, I do have paypal but you'll have to bear with me as I haven't sold anything on ebay for about a year so I'll sort out paypal if I can.

If you are in London you'd be welcome to come over and hear the quality of the records but for now they're mostly mint/mint or near mint.

If you think you might be seriously interested please send me a pm and I'll send you a list with price guidelines. The most expensive would be about £70 and the cheapest £5-10.

Mate, you'll be floggin a dead horse on eBay. I stuck about 50 12"s on there last week, sold about 8. All of them went for nothing and only had 1 bid on each. I stuck records on there that were goin for £20+ a couple of years ago, I couldn't give em away, starting at £1.99 with no reserve!

Nobody buys vinyl any more :-(

saying that I can't bring myself to sell a lot of stuff.

I was considering one album very carefully but if I had decided to sell it I might as well have cleared any precious stuff I've got left, which isn't a lot after I had rather darker times in the late 90s..

anyway, there's a few bits. Nothing that's going to make you pawn your mom's heirlooms maybe.

I didn't mean 'nobody' literally, meant that the market has slumped over the years. I still but vinyl too :-)

Still seems to be people buying old stuff(disco, soul, boogie, funk etc) but selling House vinyl....it's a dead duck :-(

the list is pmed by pm request - but due to the way things are organised I actually need your email address sent to me. If you're shady about this i fully dig that - all I can say is I'll send you the list to your email address and will only maintain correspondence with you through it about the records, I will not be stalking you with pictures/chain emails/appeals for seals etc. ..and I expect the same courtesy when you get something from me..... ;)
