Dom from KinesisUk here. Actually, I had never seen those 2 bikes! [condor and Fixie] I made a point of doing what I wanted to do, rather than looking too much at what others were doing. The bike with the Black fork is a prototype, unfortunately we didn't have the finished one for the show, so yes, the t. tube is too long and the rear centre too long also. The rear dropout is also at p.type stage [it also has paper decals and the fork is the wrong colour!!] Maybe next time I won't show a bike that isn't finished : [
Welds and finish are now very nice.
The Convert2 is part of a range of 3 bikes [called DECADE] that are all about adapability, it's not really for the 'purists' out there!
We are not trying to be 'Hip', otherwise we would have released a track frame 2yrs. ago. We provide framesets that really work for the intended use and are the type of frame that we would like to use. The graphics are hand drawn by one of my favourite UK artists and are used on the whole range.
