Sure is cheap Frame still is.
Can't see what differance this makes or quite why you have to post it.

• The fact you're trying to get £30 more from what exactly?

• The fact you're trying to get £30 more from what exactly?

I paid £20 for it is in Poole it is costing £12.99 to post which give or take is £33 so i make 12 quid which does not make up for all the stuff i sell for a loss and members on here have had bargins.

• did you measure it?

• did you measure it?

No lol just took the sellers facts and figures of the seller

• there is nothing wrong with trying to make £20 on a frame. ignore them kingcutter. it's a recession and people are trying to make you feel guilty for getting a bit of money in.

at least your not hillary!

• The fact you're trying to get £30 more from what exactly?

And the 50 quid i am asking is including the post which is £12.99 parcel force 48 so i don't make £30 you are welcome to have it for £33 if you want to come and collect it.

Agreed. Too much spoiling happening on peoples sales.
I think the moderators should step in on such matters.

It's exactly this kind of thing that hacks me off about the internet lands. No one is really trying to fiddle anyone, we're all friends (for the most part) but there is always someone who has to stick their beak in.

"I've got a pair of brand new toe-clips in silver, want what i paid plus postage."

"Oh, you can get these in blah-blah for less than you are selling them for, care to make a massive loss?"

MEDAL!

That does not bother me all that much,it's people who jump on the band wagon without thinking that pisses me off thinking i am making 30 quid for doing nothing, and not seeing the full story, mind you half the people on here don't know what a fucking post office looks like as they only like to sell things local.

• Hi Kingcutter.

You've made a pretty good case for why that frame has gone up to £50. That's fine by me. What I was actually surprised by was the fact that you grabbed it inside 5 minutes when it was on the CTC website. Less than 24 hours later it's for sale on here at more than twice the price. I'm guessing you hadn't even taken delivery when it went on here.

Those are normally the actions of a trader, not someone just buying and selling stuff for a build. Prices on here are usually a lot lower than on the bay because we are all mates helping each other out and there's a general lack of making-a-fast-buck going on.

The visible signs of your buying and selling did seem to look like a bit of fast footwork. Seems only fair to alert people. If there are good reasons for it, that's fine too.

• dude... he's selling a frame for £50. nobody's really getting ripped off here.

• Only fair to alert people?
I'll decide if I want to buy the frame based on price, condition etc. I certainly don't need alerting by somebody. What it smacks of, is you having nothing better to do than spoiling a perfectly legitimate sale.

• lovin the player haters on here...

but glad they've been embarrassed...its time for Bargin hunt wohoo.

• Even if he was a trader, what exactly is the problem? After all, that's sort of what a trader does, innit? If this was being sold in the real world, with people in front of the merchandise, there would be no discussion like the above with the trader, because he would probably smack you in the face or call you a timewasting twat. The fact we are talking peanuts money makes this even more frustrating and pointless.

Frame for £50. Fair price? Someone will buy it and love it. If you don't think it's a fair price, move the fuck on!

I logged on saw it bought it because I wanted a new project in the mean time another forum member on here let me have another frame same size, which I liked better, rather than mess the other guy around on the CTC forum I decided just to have it and sell it on, you can't expect me to sell it at a loss, a lot of people on here are messes dibbing stuff etc if I like it I buy it simple I have missed loads of things on here because they have been snapped up within minutes, you know the saying snooze you lose and at 20 plus post it had to be bought. so maybe before acting think it through I have loads of people on here who don't like me for whatever reason, the first things I sold on here were so cheap I was accused of stealing them so look like you can't win this is why I suggested there should be a feedback rating so people know what to expect when dealing with another member.
