Friday 6pm seems an odd time to me, alot of people will not be able to make that.
look at the numbers they had at that Leeds alleycat by having it at the weekend, louds of people traveled to it from other places.
Maybe you want to keep it to small numbers and the same old faces? -

Plenty of people turned up to Critical Mass on a Friday at 6pm, so I don't see why the same people wouldn't be able to make it to this unless they've already got something planned.
If no-one's able to turn up then it's no big deal for me.
If you want to arrange one on a weekend then feel free to do so, no-one's stopping you!

Info update:
With any luck there should be a spoke card for everybody who enters.
The start line will be the top floor of a multistorey car park.
There are ten checkpoints. If you miss a checkpoint you're disqualified.
There's a 90 minute time limit. If you don't get back before the time limit you're disqualified.
From start to finish, depending on which checkpoint you start with and whether you go clockwise or anticlockwise, you should cover about eleven miles according to Google maps. The shortest route is probably a bit less than this.
I haven't actually been to any of the checkpoints, although I obviously know vaguely where most of them are. If I'm not too tired and if my finish line assistant shows up, I will join in the race just for fun. Obviously, as the organiser I am automatically disqualified, so ineligible for any prizes. You may choose to follow me to save time, but potentially I could go in the wrong direction on purpose to mess you up... it's up to you whether you take that chance or not...
The finish line will be outside a pub, there will be bands playing in part of it and it's £3 to go into that part, but you can go in the normal bar for free if you just want drinks and the pool table. If you win the race you get to see the bands for free.

I was pumped up for this but I'm not gonna be able to make it due to it being late in the month and, so, I have next to nothing in the bank.
Sorry! I'll be at the Track Punx event fo' sure though! -

Gonna have to give this one a miss, moving house the next day and need to pack!

The spoke cards are done! Double sided 'n' all. There are about 20 of them although I'm not expecting more than 10 people to show up - would be ace if 20 did though.
Don't worry if yer gonna be late, it probably wont start for about 45 mins, what with all the faffing about with spoke cards and checkpoint sheets and all that bollocks.
Everyone who enters and completes the checkpoints before the deadline gets points in the 2009 Brum Alleycat League Table... obviously your position will determine the number of points you get... Trophy at the end of the year for the person with the most points :)

I cant race as I dont get out of work til 7.10 and I am gutted as no one can cover my shift! Is it likely I could catch you guys up somewhere for a photo or two?... Lee will you be around or are you racing?
If not I guess I will see you all at the finish line. -

Not sure what time I'll be there either, still gotta decide if it's gonna be a slog up the stratford road? Or may try and get train if they'll take me at rush hr.

If not I guess I will see you all at the finish line.If you want I'll meet you at the start and time you. I was thinking of doing 2 start times anyway for people who cant make it for 6ish
Alternatively I could hold it til half 7 but I dunno if people will want to wait around that long...
