Hi fellas, any mechanical problem under my roof is usually an excuse to get the tools to do the job myself rather than take to the increasingly clueless retail outlet.
However, cycle steerer threads are not listed in my trusty Zeus tablet, so does any body know if we are talking BSF, UNF, BNC, Whitworth etc........?
At present a lot of imperial measurement cutting tools appear discounted as the world becomes more metric and as such one can tool up at less cost than some expensive 'cycle tools" I have sourced.
After the usual threading up of a 1" steerer for a Tange Seiki headset but I can't work out the pitch required.
One engineering supplier is selling off British Standard Cycle cutting dies cheap is that right gear?
Ta,
