The ever spotted Ed Scoble on Bricky today. I yelled out, but you didn't hear me and just sailed by. I was hoping to get to actually meet you. No luck.
Also saw the ever slimey looking OnOneLobster also on the lane, chatting to the Black Dude with the yellow aerospoked multi-coloured bike that I am so envious of.

Some randomengers that stuck in my head today: Guy on what I think was a Charge going south down Evelyn St at about 4.20 who gave me a big grin, guy on a yellow and green Coppi going south over Waterloo Bridge at about 5.30, guy in a hat on a cute blue frame (who I have a feeling I've met) going north up Evelyn (or Lower, I forget) at about 11.45pm.

Spotted that multi-coloured Aende lo-pro yesterday on the way back from the memorial ride - is that still vinyvillain's? You passed us just before Marble Arch and headed down Oxford Street.
Seconds later I got rear-ended by a taxi - who rather than check I was ok decided to have a go at me for stopping in front of him.
It's funny - as that's what you tend to do in traffic...
Even more funny was looking back to find my rear wheel literally encased in his bumper, and I couldn't get it out no matter how hard I pulled. Sadly my wit and joviality failed me, as I ended up resorting to a primeval 'fuck off' mode. He had 3 fares in the back too. They looked horrified...

gimme more descriptions and i can confirm?errr. tricky as it was dark, I was a bit drunk and I only caught a glimpse of possible-you before lots of traffic got in the way. Though if you were riding a blue fixed up Evelyn Street at around then it probably was you, I saw pretty much no other cyclists on the way back, fixed or otherwise. I don't think you saw me.
All I can remember is the frame was a really pretty blue, like the blue Forts or the one in Ant's avatar, and the guy looked mid-to-late 20s and either had a hat on or a hood up. Sorry, not terribly helpful...

Guy on a black frame wearing a Condor hat entering the path through Highbury Fields at about 7 last night, gave me a friendly nod. Also, Kyle at some god-awful hour of the morning on Kings Road.

Rik now has vinylvillain's lo pro.
Sorry to hear about the taxi incident. That driver sounds like a right twat.
Someone, who shall remain nameless, led us down Oxford Street on our way back south yesterday. It was chaos. I think Hael went down twice (I saw him go down the second time) due to random peds wondering into the street. Thankfully he was okay. Why does anyone cycle down that road?
-
• #11845
you cycle down oxford st every so often jut to check your reflexes, personally I'm always ducking down onto gt marlborough or just take a longer route, to avoid it altogether.
andyp, I'll be expecting full disclosure on monday evening..

Full disclosure will not be a problem. The miscreant make be there in person to defend themselves.

I headed due south.. From the pub, up the hill and right just before the memorial and the basically straight til I hit King's rd only to find that my brother wasn't home but shopping in Putney.. So I rode over to see him and was just heading back while he got the bus when we spotted each other..

Bloke on a red and white frame, possibly a BLB Polski job, on your way to and from the Arsenal.

WOW! I was spotted. That was me the older guy. I asked OOL why he was so rude, he chukled and said I have been spotted by some forumongers,
and I want to give them something to talk about, well it worked:) *This image that you lot proceed to make him out to be is "false". Dean is a genuine cyclist, he has
his own cycle workshop and helps less fortunate kids in his local area. He has always helped me with my bike builds, and is one of the best wheel builders around.*Not contesting how genuine he is, just find the way that he conducts himself to be a little childish, that is all.
white and chrome bianchi...crossing Oxford St on regent, just now. Sorry if I made you jump by revving the mo'bike.
and tighten your chain....
