Sorry new to this site and I just saw this bike and bugger I owned one 30 years ago and raced on it. I remembered the cut out bottom bracket and had a dust saver inserted. The only thing with mine was that it had a thicker rim on the front as it was a sprinters bike. It was beautiful but the tubeless tyres where a pain having to glue them to the rim.
You still got saddle ?

Advantages other then increased braking;
No loss of performance when rim covered in mud/water
No problems caused by untrue wheels
Lighter rims as no braking surface/structure requiredWhy wouldn't you have them?
Because th UCI don't allow them in 'Cross races.

I discoverred women and drink and I sold it on. My saddle was the lightweight version and I remember that the badge on the front was metal and riveted on and the spare rims where Mavic Golds.
It was gorgeous but at the time I dreamed off a made to measure Colnago frame.
My road bile frame was built by Ken Ryall and was Campag Record throughout and mauve in colour, also gorgeous and a good ride on 25 mile time trials.

Oh yeah, I am always entering UCI cross races :-)
And I believe the UCI are thinking about allowing them anyway.

Sorry to hear that your bike was stolen - but here's a few tips:
- you need a bigger frame
- you need a method of stopping or a method of foot retention
- you need to learn how to maintain tubular tires if you're going to use them on the street
- you need to tighten your chain
- you clearly need to buy a better lock, or even 2, if you're going to spend that much money on a bike.
- you need a bigger frame
