Hammo, are you also the artist who goes by the same name?

My name is Chris Hammond but not Chris Hammond who runs MOT or the one who works for the SLG. Confusing at college when people thought I had a gallery already, confusing when working for a gallery after leaving college, confusing now. Just plain confusing!
I'm not him.
Hope that clears it up.

On the off chance:
Freelance graphic designer needed for some layout work next week... possibly just a day or two, possibly more.
If you could PM with portfolios/availability that'd be great. We're based off Rivington Street and need someone asap!

I wouldn't call it an off chance. Half the people on the forum are graphic designers!

like photography/music/video. graphic design is not difficult, you just buy some felt tips, ruler and some paper, it's piss easy.
that's why there are so many on the forum. -

this is a bit unfair mrsmith

Certainly is. I wish I was a web or graphic designer, and therefore employable.

that's why there are so many on the forum.very true but to do those things well is hard anyone can claim to be a photographer trust me I see them daily but having the skill and eye to compose an image is a skill that either comes naturally or is very hard to obtain.

yes. either way, its not something that requires any training or knowledge, that's for damn sure.

yeah but they all say that. Even the designers/musicians/photographers who are terrible but don't realise it.
I'm not commenting on your skills btw as I've never knowingly seen any of your work, so couldn't possibly comment.
Also mrsmith is only pissing about, as am I.

filled for now
my company is looking for a payroll administrator, basically involves taking timesheets and uploading them onto a payroll system and then cross checking them against another system to make sure none are missed.
Were quite a relaxed company to work for, and not in any real danger and have yet to feel the effects of the credit crunch.
Would be working Monday and Tuesdayalthough there may be a bit more work available.
we're looking for someone who is going to be with us for a while as it's a pain in the arse to train someone up on the systems for them to turn around in 3 months and quit.
Pm me if interested, we've got secure bike parking and shower
on site too! -

Hi all, more of a job request then an offer but though maybe out of the many designers on here someone might be able to help.
Ok so I am a graphic design student at Kingston University (2nd Year) and I was due to be doing some work experience over Easter with a small-ish studio but due to a quite big client going under they don't have much work at the moment so they have had to postpone me coming till later in the year.
This means I am now available for work experience in my Easter gap (30th March-17th April) and wondered if anyone on here could make use of me for 3 weeks?
I'm a hard worker and can use photoshop/illustrator/indesign well, also do quite a lot of photography and I can code html and edit video.
Any offers will be very welcome,
Have a look at my website www.justluke.co.uk or
flickr (for my photography work) www.flickr.com/photos/justluke
after an accident, i've been 4 months out of work. i'm fine now but broke as...
if anyone is recruiting for anything, pls let me know.
