asm, can't thank you enough for helping solve that little mystery - it's been bugging me for a long time before I posted the pic.
you're right - it looks very very similar to the frame you posted (is that your own? running fixed with track ends or the half-chain solution?)
And I've got a strong hunch that it was indeed 731 tubing, but it was so long ago I couldn't quite remember. just knew it was more exotic than yer everyday 531.
and yes, pretty sure it's 700 at the front but will double-check over the weekend.
but nice to know I've got something that someone, somewhere might be interested in buying.
