  • Wearing a Jacob will get you a girl.

Wearing an IWC will get you a lady.

    Fixed

  • the old ones are nice

i love the resin case version of this, hard to tell if this one or not

  • your right

  • i thought it was steel?

they made two versions, i think the older version is steel

  • it is indeed a resin case

  • stand to get this if i get a first in my degree, was a gift to my Dad from a business friend around twenty or so years ago

bit bling for me, but something that means alot

  • Never a big fan of Franck Muller timepieces.

But the movement and dial of this one are crazy.

    Crazy Hours

  • How the hell are you suppose to tell the time on that?! Let alone pissed....

  • hideous

i think its quite funny and clever the hour hand is only ever going to point to the correct hour and the minute hand is only ever going to run in the normal way. i guess if you have that kind of money and you want to show strangers that your zany then its the watch to have...... better than a wacky tie, no? :-)
inebriated though,, your right it might prove problematic.

  • One day I'll own one of these.

Till then I've got a Skagen that does the job.

that's gorgeous! i'm not even going to look up how much it costs... shit.

    on my wrist right now:

  • Nice!

  • on another level

    Cabestan winch tourbillion.
it reminds me of the old routemaster bus conductors ticket machine :-)

  • Unfuckwithable.

Makes me feel like i'm in 2001 all day, everyday.

  • Ugliest watch on the thread

i don't like any of the IWC's, and that crown just looks wrong.......sorry

+1 its a bit poncey innit

  • Blancpain is also known for its Fifty-Fathoms watch, selected by the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Navy"]United States Navy[/ame] and worn by Jacques-Yves Cousteau in his award winning films.

  • Got...

..but needs a new strap as the leather is close to failing, way more money than I can afford at the mo (aligator skin).

    want...

    real bad

The classic Hublot Big Bang (opinion remains divided, but I love it), this is the HIGHLY ltd Ayrton Senna edition

    Need...

    Girard-Perregaux ww.tc.

Parmigiani Tondagraph, 1 of 30 to be made @ almost $1m. Exclusivity is a luxury, not a right! Haha

Slightly more realistically (although not really) is the old Bernard Richards Manufacture

  • my 18th bday saturday, got my pressie early,

an IWC, part of the "vintage collection", the ingenieur model with black face. absolutely inlove with it. have both the original leather strap and the rubber one that comes with the aquatimer of the same collection for cycling etc lol

absolutely love IWC as a brand, as well as more classical watch makers like A lange and sohne, breguet etc.

find watching the second hand move on a lovely automatic watch extremely relaxing... lol

  • Wearing a Jacob will get you a girl.

Wearing an IWC will get you a woman.

or perhaps as i'm 18 a nice refined educated girl?

  • Get a pic up then lad!

  • "Hey cutie, wanna date? Is that an IWC Portuguese?"

  • Mmm, so many nice watches.

I usually wear this Nike thing - bought when I was running because it has a funky accelerometer thingy that goes on your foot to measure speed and distance. Haven't tried it on the bike...

When I finished my degree, I bought this Fortis that I'd seen and fallen in love with. Unfortunately it needs some work on it as the screw-down crown no longer screws down :(
