  • someone should look into doin premiers of these,
maybe night ride then premiers then drunk ness

  • Heard the names before but whats the story with them? Im too lazy to goooooogle...Plus im....Working...lol

  • Bitching Fixed Gear Movies in the vein of classic skate movies/ surf movies etc. It'd be great if we could organise to do it in Meeting House Square, everyone could spin in and leave their bikes there and get boozed and wath the movies outdoors :D

I could maybe get it sponsored by Sol/ Bavaria if we really wanted to make a big affair of it...

  • True true, might be something good for the Paddys weekend biz, whos moves are they?
Anyone you can get in contact with?

  • i fuckin love bavaria, good idea

  • Same, they were doing big sponserships just at the end of the summer, indie festivals and shizz.
    Who wants to step up?

  • How would we go about it?

  • Well I can sort the Bavaria handy enough I reckon, went to school with the Irish importers son and he's a good mate of mine, I guess thereafter we just approach IFI or someone and ask about using Meeting House Square, maybe even organise some grub and make it a big affair!! Probably worth planning for warmer weather though so as not to rush it and then freeze our arses off standing around outside ;)

  • Well its not a bad idea to start planning now, for summer like.
The more time you have to plan the better, ok so does anyone here have any connections in the Ifi or anything?
Maybe send the guys from the two videos a email, noting to formal just asking and shizz.
Would it be worth tying in with the Kings of concrete or anything?
That way the venue is set, I could ask some of the guys who run it(I think).

    macaframa site,

    council

would it be better to try keep it indoors?
grahem white would be good to organise it cause of his connections and shizz and tie it into the paddys day thing

  • Well the problem with indoors is the bikes, unless we could put the bikes inside the IFI courtyard,
plus if we did get him involved we could just save it for the summer time and no doubt there would be some similar events to show it at.
But if we got it going any time it would be great.
Oh and a drink company sponsoring on Paddys day, probably not...

  • yeah but the alleycat and stuff is the weekend b4 paddys day, but its all a bit close isn't it? I was down in that italian spot by the millenium footbridge today and its sweet although much smaller than meeting house square, djunno, just thinkin aloud here

  • Yeah thats what I was saying, start organising now and have it closer or in summer.

  • Maybe the Light House cinema in Smithfield would be keen to host it. The IFI usually have their schedule booked up months in advance.

  • Good idea

  • is that a link to your emails?
you forgot to leave your password.

  • Yeah just copy the text into a message here or else make a document out of it.

  • race 4pm, this friday? why so early?! some of us can't get there at these crazy, oudlandish times.
