JimJams, I hope you’re just having a silly rant there? What does it add to the original – bugger all really, but that’s not how the music industry work is it? So what if people like a remix – if it means that people find a tune they wouldn’t necessarily have heard before, then what’s wrong with that*? It’s all a bit Home Taping Is Killing Music and a bit like the snobbishness of saying that people shouldn’t kill puppies or ride conversions, or ride fixed at all if they’re not some uber curryer? Its a northern soul staple.
That remix just means that when you youtube it, you get the promoted remix and not the original – which is three pages in.
