I can't believe no-one has suggested Les Triplettes de Bellville yet! Also called Belleville Rendez-Vous. It's about the tour-de-france (sort-of), and has got everything: Cyclists, Mafia, crazy old ladies, beautiful animation, crazy music and one big fat dog.
Anyone wants to come north and watch is more than welcome.

It's been mentioned at least once on this thread, and was given away as a free DVD in some newspaper a while back. It's great.

See? Now that sounds a lot better than:
drug use, gang rape, copious amounts of pointless violence, hardcore porn scenes, menstruation...

Blame it on Fidel
I can't believe you put Irreversible after Baise Moi! Irreversible, quite apart from being a bit disturbing and violent, was actually a 'proper' film. Baise moi, on the other hand, was a pretty poor hashing together of 'graphic scenes of a sexual nature' and was pretty much sold on that basis. Boring as hell IMO.
"drug use"? Is that really a selling point for a film? If i wanted to see drug use I could see it for real just by hanging out in pretty much any underground carpark at this time of year and not have to feel bad about the fact that I will never get the 77 minutes i wasted watching Baise Moi back.
...er, IMO
