Definitely DP18's, I just had a pair built up to low flange Miche's. They look bootiful.

not really, if you like the tops of drops but not the bottoms
But they are track bars with minimal/no comfortable part to hold and steer the bike.
Would be better if he done the same to normal drops, or used flat bars/bullhorns.

I find that my track bars are comfortable on the tops dfp.. is it possible that this person does too?

Seb you're joking right? Tell me you're joking.....
i'm not joking sorry, its more me pointing out that what is in the anti-porn thread (the worse thread ever created) is sometimes porn to some people just not everyone. The colours are nice on the bike, its outrageous, unnecessary so pretty good at being porn.

What's the equivalent size of that "one size fits all" frame?
That's a great little bike, 14 should totally be stocking that.
I'm thinking the same, but then, I realise that there is a lots of people who never heard of those bike will quickly assumed that it's just a children bike and rather go for the 'proper' thing (700c etc.).
actually, they're likely to assumed it's an circus bike only designed for people with big feet, red nose, and flower that spurt water.

will smaller wheels make skidding easier?
-
• #11641
Since smaller wheel mean you can easily accelerate (BMX for instance), I think it does make skidding easier.

*Am I the only one to find all these retro-builds a bit naff. I love a classy old bike as much as the next man...well, actually a lot more than the next man. But the beauty of an old bike is made up of a lot of different things, a big piece of which is the fact that at some point in the past it was cutting edge technology. Once you layer that with the bumps and bangs or 'cough' patina, then you have something that is beautiful.
The bikes above look very nice, but seem to me to be a bit like artificially aged jeans i.e. slightly missing the point.*

i think its the deep section rims that throw the symetry out. take those away and you have the purity again,,, maybe.

Americans don't get the whole "history" thing, having none of their own.
Worse still for them, they won the war but the gooks have got the best bikes.
Are they back in stock ? When i was in there a couple of weeks ago Keith was fitting their last pair onto a bike.
