    Really !
Thought you would at least know how to spell his name then,
    its Jools :~}

  • pub bike:

Doesn't look that different to the sundays best ;)

  • After building three bikes from the ground up I've just gone OTP.

61cm of "Made in Taiwan" speed- currently running the out of the box 49/15 ratio, which is slow to get going but great fun when you get up to speed.

  • nice radiator

  • Thanks- it's not actually that good at heating the flat sadly!

  • i didn't realise they came drilled at the front?
is it for the track.. and the brake is for commuting to and from..... or you rocking the HHSB style.

  • They don't come drilled- the forks took a trip to an engineer and when they came back I could mount a brake.

The intention is to ride it too Herne Hill, remove brake, then humiliate myself by rolling around at 15 mph.

  • Here's my new bike and here me

  • Here we are...after six months of bike life.

  • Why are you not running drop bar levers out of interest?

  • I prefer to stay with whatever is more like a motorbike asset .....i came from there

  • Nice looking bike though.

Make sure you've got atleast 80mm of post in the frame, those old aero ones sometimes come up a bit short.

  • is that cloth tape on the toptube? nice touch.

  • yes! you spotted!

  • Faaaahkin 'ell! Can you turn the back wheel? That looks like negative clearance to me!

  • im waiting to get a half link so i can sort that out. clearance is about 2mm :O

  • Nice.

  • im waiting to get a half link so i can sort that out. clearance is about 2mm :O

How long have you been riding it? Give it a couple of weeks and the chain will probably slacken up a bit...

  • it's vertical dropouts though so surely the wheel can't move futher back?

  • chain sometimes stretches out a bit... or am i talking turd?

  • yeh chain will be slack with a half link.

  • im using an eccentric ENO, which is a bit tricky to set up, properly that is.
You can set it up so that the chain will tension itself under the weight of the rider. That way there is no risk of it slipping from it's position. that can be in the fore or aft position.
Currently its in the fore position which is too close for comfort tbh.

  • been loitering around with intent to post on here for a year or so , so heres my ride>
and this is me on a good day!
