Also hats off the all the photographers, some really impressive efforts!

  • Erm we were in a bit of a hurry (read racing through traffic at 25mph) Bareknuckle went to over take the bus overlooked the curb of the middle section, hit it straight on, crunched wheel and snapped frame in 2 places. He is a lucky bastard, has ruptured the ligaments in his shoulder but thats it, back on the bike in 2 weeks apparently.
We actually went out after that for a bit. Silly bizness

  • lovely photos...thanks all who left me with something more than a few hazy memories

  • I can't wait for the next one, I hope this turns into a proper series of sorts :)

fucked my shoulder completely. probably off the bike for a month or so. surgeon says don't need an op though which is nice.

I'll have some pics of the night up tomorrow and the damage to the bike as well, completely written off :)

  • Oh no! I was gonna ask the same thing, glad you're not too badly hurt.

And great pics Pete. What the hell kind of exposure were you using? Give us all your secrets!!

  • Sorry I was being flippant about the picture, bareknuckleyellow. Total bike damage spot fail. Get better soon!

    cheers how much?
No seriously...I was trying out an old 50mm M42 Pentax prime lens on my canon. None of the electronics connect for aperture settings so i was kind of winging it. It opens pretty wide though so was able to get down to 2 so i could shoot fairly high shutter speed for the light. All shot at 1600 ISO but the noise wasn't too bad on some of them.

    cheers

  • fuck.

  • Oooh a vernon barker bites the dust. What a shame.
