haj Hey,
I guess i should have measured the BB axel length before i went to work, but i'm a bit eager to find out :)
I have this Vivalo Keirin-frame, with 120mm rear width, and a Shimano BB-7400 bottombracket.. What cranks will fit this? i guess Shimano Dura Ace track-cranks will, but what about Sugino 75? Dura Ace is a bit expensive, me thinks.. :)// Hans
ps: I am looking for used/new "cheap" cranks, Dura Ace og Sugino 75 (if they'll fit), just whisper me.you can fit any crank on shimano bottom bracket........no matter whether they are for ISO or JIS taper. Best results though would be with JIS.and less fiddling with the chainline.....
ISO TAPER : campagnolo
sugino 75 and granmighty miche
JIS TAPER : dura ace
stronglight RPM sugino messenger possibly TA
i have used dura ace cranks.....depends on how much is cheap for you:-)

I tried installing some cheap Sugino-cranks that i kind of bought by accident, and they went too far in, so far that i ran out of taper.. if i look at this page:
http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bbtaper.htmlUnder the interchangeability-section, it looks like i have ISO-tapers? i wonder if BB-7400 (i think it's NJS-stamped) came as ISO or JIS, or both?

too far in.........hm.....the bb axle is too short then....
shimano has JIS tapers.
were the cranks track or road??? -

I guess they are road... RD2-something they say, probably the same arms as the RD-messenger, 130BCD..
Something like the Dura Ace FC-7600 in good condition looks nice.. but i'm kind of starting thinking the safest would be to get a set with matching BB. -

To HAJ
You have a Kerein frame? Sounds very Hi end track. anyhow, the 7400 taper BB is the late 80's Dura Ace BB, for the DA double cranks, 112mm spindle for english BB shell. If you mount the spindle with the shorter end on the drive side, it should approximate a 110mm bb.The taper is JIS, or the shimano workhorse standard, not the NJS, which is 7600 DA track, or Sugino 75. There are less snobbish JIS Taper cranks on ebay, that should work with a 110mm spindle, or you could get an old shimano 600 ex crank from the mid 80's, that could do for now, unless youre up against Chris Hoy, in an elite track meet. Good luck
