  • Seems ironic to me that the professor's frame's are coming out of the factory wonky.

  • it looks ok!!~~

  • i would love a corima.... it looked the tits when you had one on there.... but i wont have a tub, and i can't find a corima clincher for less than £400.... which i aint prepared to pay for a wheel to go on my beater!

they do have a corima tub in 14 though..... they do cycle2work there you say..... maybe i could be persuaded.....

So i walked into a clients architectural practice and what do i see on entering the building but the rust bucket parked up in the bike storage.....London is a small place sometimes.. I stopped and checked it out...tasty.

  • Everything is already ready for the Bob Jackson.

(Miche Primato high flange hubs, Mavic CXP14, Miche Pista "Supremacy" crankset, Miche BB, KMC K710Sl lightweight chain).

I forget how little I need to build the BJ, all it need is a BB, crankset, wheels, cog, seatpost, saddle, handlebar, stem, headset, chain, pedal, cage, strap and grip.

the stem/handlebar, saddle/seatpost, pedal/cage/strap (MKS RX-1 is fucking smooth) is coming from my Bianchi to be put on the BJ.

  • wheels look fit. cxp14s right? where did you get them? didn't you do a thread about alternatives?

  • Jesus. Ed hasn't even got his new frame yet and we're getting pictures of it! ;p

  • what tyres are those ed?

  • he's a keen one alright!

  • A while ago yes, but that was because of the lack of CXP14 to be found, until Jos from Tour De Ville inform me that he have two pair of CXP14 700c 36h in stock, needless to said, I grabbed the chance.

it's a fucking pain waiting for my frame!! already pay for finally and the component is ready, just need the frame from Leeds.

(tyres are 25c Gatorskins front, and 28c Randonneur rear).

  • Patience Ed. It's a virtue. I ordered a frame on November 17th and am still waiting for it. It'll arrive eventually.

  • I think I have 2 more weeks left for the frame to arrived, what frame did you order?

  • One of these;

  • wowser.
    I'm waiting too.
waiting is lame, it makes me want to build other bikes.
yesterday I was just under £100 off buying a cinelli vigorelli, and today, well I'm debating the mash bike.

all this despite the fact in my cupboard my huge cargo bike build is just waiting for me to actually do something, damn those rims, why haven't they arrived?

  • you gonna get another geekhouse eyebrows?

  • I thought you were a poor student who was looking for a job Ed? Where is the moneys comin from for all this!? Are you a wizard?

  • you gonna get another geekhouse eyebrows?

    fingers crossed.
The money from the insurance arrived this week, which is definitely paying for it.

but lost my job, and some major funding this week so currently back on the student loan only :(

    so we'll see.
and i'm not skiing for a while so all good.
just waiting for marty to relax after NAHBS.
    then more waiting......

Have you not been seeing the classified section? I have been selling shit like crazy as well as getting money from simple DIY job.

after the frame arrived and the bike is build up, I'm selling the Bianchi and use the money to pay for even better part for the Bob Jackson.
