  • hey shinscar hows that GT frame??

its currently locked in my lobby next to a ss willier pista frame :( as im moving and can only ride one of my bikes.

how much did the stevens nag go for?

  • WEEEEEEEEE lots of generous suggestions coming in, hippy and matt suck eggs!!!

ha! tis the best way yo eat eggs if you ask me.

  • go for dual action if possible. they save space and time.

  • like boobies is that how you treat them??

  • just read that on a description, but beats me what is means, feckin tech lingo

  • ok, high volume or high pressure. eeermmmmm

  • WEEEEEEEEE lots of generous suggestions coming in, hippy and matt suck eggs!!!

Read my motherfucking post again, thankyou please. What is the first word in it?

    BLACKBURN. BLACKBURN. BLACKBURN.

    Now.. you die.

  • ok, high volume or high pressure. eeermmmmm

The Crank Bros Power pump pro has a switch on the end to go from high volume to high pressure. Start pumping in high volume setting to fill the tyres quick. Then switch to high pressure when the going gets tough, to crank up the PSI.

    Its like gears innit ;)

  • hippy darling, calm down, don't kill me ignorance and arrogance are bliss

Thanks for the brief on what the terms mean small and furry

  • hey shinscar, he kept the frame, decided he could not part with it and the buyer in Germany was going to break it down and re-spray himself. Dont think stephen could do it, even for the money. so it is still beating around London

  • Topeak Morph Turbo, backpack sized mini track pump. Its says 160 psi on the gauge, dont know about that but have had it up to 130 psi with a bit of effort.

+1 for the Topeak Morph range, there are three sizes, pick the one that suits your tyres best (eg, they do a mountain bike one for high volume, lower pressures)

  • Must... not... kill.... again....

  • what is pfft? q'est que??

A kind of discretion that usually women do far better than men.

  • still don't get what pfft means, I hate that!

  • still don't get what pfft means, I hate that!

    Beat box snare

  • anyone use the carharrtt mini pump!?! - quite fancy it but only if it works well....

  • Riding to work and wondered why everyone was honking (their car horns) at me...

Appears my tyres are heavily defalted :(

Can anyone recommend an affordable mini pump? From reading the forum Blackburn and Top Peak seem the go... however where can I pick one up today? I am on Bishopsgate.

    I can order this online:
Blackburn Air Stick Mini Pump 2009
    £12.95
    http://www.parker-international.co.uk/400/Blackburn-Air-Stick-Mini-Pump.html

Will Cycle Surgery or Evans Cycles let me borrow a pump? What happens when you don't have access to a pump, what do you do?

Thanks in advance. Apologies for total newbie questions.

  • ^ Yes Evans and CS and pretty much any bike shop should let you use their pump. You have two CS in spitting distance of Bishopsgate.

You shouldn't leave the house without a pump and patches. I've got one of those Crank Bros ones and it and a repair kit with a multitool in it fit in back pocket of a pair of jeans with ease.

    There's no excuses really.

  • Is this a wind up?

  • Thanks.

Will check out the local bike shop and order the pump online.

I am trying to keep my bag light but presume carrying the proper kit around helps getting stuck on the side of the road.

  • Mini Pumps thread.

  • hey, carrying such a co2 thingy around for the odd commute flatty occasion, is it reliable enough for say months in the bag and used only in the emergency case? like no co2 leaking out over time or sth that would let me down in the moment i need it to get home late after say SE beers?
