My friend used to ride trials pro after winning the trials comp at the bike show one year, he was sponsored by the hub company but I think he broke a few of them…

    I think they were called Stealth or something, They didn't make a single noise.

    P.s. Did your mate use to put Tar on his rims? made your pads grippy as fuck but made a hellish noise!

    Tar + hydraulic brakes made a horrible noise.

    The 72 pawl was good for trials I heard because of the huge number of engagement points reducing wasted crank movement.

    I was always amazed at how fast trial riders could spin! 540s off a foot high bench from a standstill? I've seen friends who ride BMX do bunnyhop 540s on flat, but that's going with some speed into it, not to mention the rotation of whipping the front around during the bunnyhop. But just a standing 540? Hard as fuck.
