Welcome to London.
Have a look at this thread for a start;
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread15567.html
You might also want to visit Cavendish Cycles, Tour de Ville and Brick Lane Bikes to see if they have anything in stock in your size. Unfortunately I think you may struggle to find something in your size for that price as the demand for track bikes remains strong in the UK despite the economic climate.
You should also come along to your nearest local drinks (Souths on Monday, Norths and South East on Tuesday, Easts on Wednesday and Wests on Thursday) to meet a few like minded folk.

Thanks, I'll check those shops out soon. And hopefully will come out to North drinks provided my teachers don't swamp me with work.

I have a Condor Pista frame with a Vitus Carbon fork. Not a beater but it might interest you.
Light weight Alloy frame with carbon fork. The frame is a Condor Pista, it was resprayed by Terry Winter as it was a nasty matt colour.

Seat tube c-to-c = 56cm
Top tube c-to-c = 58cm
Head tube = 22cmIt is stamped on the BB as a 61.
Let me know if you are interested. I might have a few other parts to help build it up.
£160 for the frame, fork and headset. Frame is in Brentfrod, West London.

re-bumping this. My budget is higher because I'm just planning on re-selling the bike back to community in may when I head back to the states- looking for a solid 61cm complete track bike ready to take some polo abuse and some longer rides as well. Please help, much appreciated!

anyone...please!?!

Chris, complety bike is goint to be difficult, and more been a track frame.
why not go for a conversion frame, some cheap wheel and some cheap parts, I can give you a hand putting everything together, I have most of the needed tools.
think about it

I have this Sunn Solo 60cm, big enough for me at 6ft 3ins, frame, fork, headset, BB & seat post, nice blue colour and good condition, forward facing horizontal drop-outs, I was going to build it up but don't know if I will have the time.
I will have to post it as I am in Bristol- £35 all in?

Sun Solo now sold & being posted to London. thanks for the interest.
Hi all, just moved to London last week from NYC. Unfortunately, I was not able to bring my bike over with me, so I am looking to get a 61cm (+/- a couple cm's is ok) complete track bike, preferably a beater/ polo bike that wont mind taking alittle abuse. Looking to spend no more than £200-250. Much appreciated!
Provided I am able to get a bike, I'm going to need a chain lock as well.
