I'd prefer the grey to be darker though

I'd prefer them to be MTB not road so I could wear them every minute of every darn day. But I guess that's 80's NOS for you. They're courtesy of Tour de Ville.

sand blast the ones you have and spray them (should make the paint stay on better).... the anodised pink doesnt look as nice as a flat colour..
