Thats a built in bike lock yeah ? Seems like a good idea (Dutch bikes have them) Wont stop a thief walking off with your bike but a good backup/deterrant lock I suppose

It's not really effective as an anti-theft measure - I'm sure you could bust it with ease, but it's great for keeping the wheel straight when the bike's on the sidestand - especially if it has a heavy basket on the front. Very easy to ride off with it locked though :-)
