you guys heard of the monkey man? bill is tweeting about him... seems some arsehole in a gorilla mask is rollerblading around the westend attacking cyclists. mental.

Have there been any recorded incidents of him attacking non-couriers?

Heh, I once got onto the pavement to pass a lorry just before a cycle lane started, stopped at some lights a bit further down and a woman pulls up having a go at me.
"You just cut me up!"
"Oh, I'm sorry"
Now, here is where it really should have ended, she shouldn't have been on the pavement in the first place and I should have waited behind the lorry. Both in the wrong, but I decided I wouldn't point out her failing and just apologise. Then:
"I had to slam on my brakes!"
"I'm sorry"
"Yeah, you pulled out right in front of me and I had to brake really hard"
"Sorry"
At this point the lights changed so I just rode off. I wonder what she would have said if I had pointed out that actually she shouldnt have been on the fucking pavement you fucking bitch, and how can I "pull out" when I have to step up a kerb? Thats right, STEP up, I fucking put my feet on the floor and walked on the pavement and you're having a go at me? Bitch. That turned into a bit of a rant but I feel a lot better now!

Just avoid new oxford street on rush hour. LIKE YESTERDAY. ·$%"$%$·$"$$"·$"·$%%&%/!!!!!
The more reflective gear and tight clothing they have the worse they ride.I could rant about this forever.

And the worse thing is they actually think that by wearing all that, they dont need lights.

last night on my commute home, I had a fellow cyclist flip out on me for pulling up along side him at some lights, then taking off before he did.
We had to turn right and all of a sudden on the outside of me I noticed a front wheel inline with my cranks and edging closer.
Ah, but when people pull up on my inside when I'm waiting at lights then cut across me, that's really annoying.
Not that I'm suggesting that's what happened, it just reminded me of how annoying it is.

45 minutes of me and another boy just hugging one another like we're trying to make love without penetration/any understanding of human biology.
EDIT: If you were having a go at me, meet behind the bike shed after class and we can sort it out like proper men.
With understanding of Biology and copious penetration?

Refelctive flouro stuff often works better than lights. You know, when its not dark enough for lights to show clearly like the daytime, and especially in glarey sun. Flouro reflectives still stand out when lights would be invisible.

is it me or is there a shit lot of winging today? its got to the point where i have to agree with Dale!
if you are angry/surprised by ungainly cyclists, aggressive car drivers and day dreaming peds why not leave your bike at home and jump on the tube. Before you know it you'll be angry at the lack of space, people pushing for seats, the constant delay and the disgusting over charging.
What do you expect, long clear flat traffic free flat roads with free beer stops and a support car in tow?

An elbow to the back......?
This dude clearly set off to put you in harms way.
I'm impressed with the composure my friend. I'd have tried to smash him up. -

I adored the courier I encountered yesterday, having a shout at a car after he blocked it from turning right.
Chatting to the guy later about the failings of car drivers, I couldn't help but wonder if riding a black bike, at night, wearing black, with no lights, while riding on pavements and ignoring all rules of the road really meant he was always in the right ...

I've just had all that minus the support car. Yeah me. It rained though.

That's crazy, all black?
They're even a danger to other cyclists, I mean some roads get pretty dark and if you're slightly short sighted like me, those guys are invisible.Hi-vis ftw. Surprised by how little people wear it on here. I mean from what I've seen at Trixie dix, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one sporting the fluoro anorak :P
Ha. I've asked my mother if she will transfer from the video to the computer and mail it up to me. But I should warn you, I'm basically a registered weapon, and you shouldn't try and copy any of my moves.
