Heh, I once got onto the pavement to pass a lorry just before a cycle lane started, stopped at some lights a bit further down and a woman pulls up having a go at me.
"You just cut me up!"
"Oh, I'm sorry"
Now, here is where it really should have ended, she shouldn't have been on the pavement in the first place and I should have waited behind the lorry. Both in the wrong, but I decided I wouldn't point out her failing and just apologise. Then:
"I had to slam on my brakes!"
"I'm sorry"
"Yeah, you pulled out right in front of me and I had to brake really hard"
"Sorry"
At this point the lights changed so I just rode off. I wonder what she would have said if I had pointed out that actually she shouldnt have been on the fucking pavement you fucking bitch, and how can I "pull out" when I have to step up a kerb? Thats right, STEP up, I fucking put my feet on the floor and walked on the pavement and you're having a go at me? Bitch.
That turned into a bit of a rant but I feel a lot better now!
