I've just been to the Clapham Junction Lidl, looking for Panniers. No joy. They did have one of those handlebar bags but I don't want that.
Didn't see any cycle computers. I did get a helmet though. I managed to put a split in mine when I came off recently. Its pretty cheap (£9!) but I'm skint right now and I can always keep it as a spare/for guests when I can afford a nicer one. It fits me surprisingly well too (most helmets are way too small for me - lots of brains you see) and the build quality isn't bad considering. Its nicer than my Specialized helmet its replacing but thats about 10 years old.
