  • Right oh, i'm looking at building up a pretty damn light SS MTB, i'm no noob but i'm just not a massive xc rider, i'm into dh n stuff, so i don't know what frames are hot and light... So, basically, what's light? Don't mind if it's not got sliding/trackends, i'll just stick a tensioner on there... Light and a decent ride is what i care about. Nothing tooo expensive because i can get a pretty nice VooDoo Wanga frame for 100 quid brand new, which has sliding dropouts, is steel, so it's real, and it's pretty light. Just wondering if there's much else out there...

  • If you can get a Wanga for a ton then get it.

  • voodoo it!

  • There is a list with all SS frames.

If you can get a Wanga for 100 quid, I don't think you are going to get anything better at cheaper price.

I have an old Kona with Tange Super Prestige which rides very nice and got it second hand for 70 quid. Unless you find that sort of bargain on a decent second hand frame, go for the Wanga.

  • Wanga it is then, cheers.

There's a courier called Tom who has one as a backup bike, dunno if anyone knows him? I had a word with him in my shop and he says it's pretty good, his build was decent but it wasn't all that light, that's all.

    They're 330 retail, but trade is 113 i believe...

  • you can get 200 pounds off a voodoo?
    fuck me thats a deal.

  • Trade/cost price :P
