glad you are ok, sounds like a shit thing to happen.
while it is entirely your choice, I would be tempted to report it. The guy sounds like a prick and if there is any chance of the fuzz having a word it could be worth it. After all, there might even be cctv or sumthin.
I would have been tempted to open up the violence after the first paragraph, so I think you were very restrained.
