Kona frame was £10, so that's quite a big upgrade!
- ENO hub means I can use any old junk...
x-large steel Bontrager Race frame with Ritchey dropouts sitting in someones shed please!
If someone has a bike but unwiling to strip it, I can take it and swap parts and will pass the Kona on.

Hi sean - Mine is a 1997 Kona Koa Double Butted aluminium 17" centre to centre.. Orange anodised.
Looks to be about the same spec as the lava dome.. but alloy of course.
If your's is 19" CTC thats spot on!The pics are from a thread on retrobike > retro road forum > 'Is it ok to hang your bicycle on the wall as art?'
Both pics are from Germany I believe.EDIT - roadiesean is after a steel frame swap - so I'm STILL LOOKING.
Thanks. -

NIce one - that second one is exactly the kind of thing I'm after.
I have spotted an NOS Scott tange frame+forks on the bay thats 99p start 2 days left.
I reckon I can get it for a good price. and it's in London.

Retrobike - linked to that frame from auctionwatch categroy.
I like the unicrown reinforcement, and it has horizontal drops, rack mounts...
n+1 imminent.
Just hope it's 1 1/8. -

Just recently picked up an old Kona fire mountain frame from t'bay which had a seatpost stuck in it, so got it for £15 with postage. Seeing as i was planning on a respray anyway i didn't mind heating up the frame to get the seatpost out. Definitely bargains out there on t'bay.
