the best hub i have used so far!
-
• #3
I'll take the 36 hole rear if they can be respaced?
-
• #4
Yes it can be re-spaced.
I also have a 20h rim that would match the other hub - clincher rim...

Single fixed, but spaced to keep the wheel dish-free.
They are unbelievably lovely, and Cliff and the boys are great to deal with.

I really would prefer double fixed, I'm lazy when it comes to changing sprockets.
(free subtle bump for messing people about)

• #13
how often do you change sprockets. another excuse to get another bike ;)

Never, I run double fixed on 2 wheels sets so have 4 different sizes readily available. :-)

this thread has started answering a question i have had in my mind over the last few days
i wondered if people could using their experience / word off mouth advise me on the list of the strongest best wearing hubs around
i have seen and heard lots about a variety of hubs recently new ones coming out
i have always gone for da large flange hubs and love them to bits but for an all weather bike to be used and ridden hard i wondered what people thought were the top of the range hubs money no objectprofile ?
royce ?
gromada ?
da ?
suzue ?
campy record ? -
• #19
phil, profile, goldtec, system x
-

royce are awesome, prob better than phils.
a friend has some road hubs, unbeleivable quality.
My top choice for value is Goldtec. -
