But it would be useless, it's daytime out there.
We'd need a laser at least.
Possibly from a satellite so that we could draw on the top of the clouds and make it roam around London alerting everyone.

Could always use the old snail mail - send a quick note marked URGENT to:
Biddle Bikes
12 York Close
Gillow Heath
Biddulph
Stoke-on-Trent
Staffordshire
ST8 6SESlap a few LFGSS stickers on the outside, etc. and let the guy know we're batting for him.
BTW, on the correspondence, it appears the name is "Karl W Dobbs", this may help to track him down.

It would be insanely well timed, to the minute that the domain expired?
-
• #32
Yeah but are they still trading? Are they a shopfront too?
-
• #33
How would we know? Anyone in Staffs?
-
• #34
ISTR seeing some other sites linked from the OTP list thread that resembled Biddle pretty closely (very similar stock and running OSCommerce). Perhaps it'd be worth having a poke around one of them?
-
• #35
Gah. I think I've found the one I was thinking of. Not actually the same guy.
-
• #36
nobody lives in staffordshire as far as i know
-
• #37

Is there a company registration number on the letter/invoice that you have?
Could probably get a landline number with that.

I was in Stoke on Saturday, only cost a tenner to get there on the train. Is it worth popping down....?

Their website seems to go to a holding page now?
Just an update. The domain name has been renewed for www.biddlebikes.co.uk and the site shall be up and running again shortly.
-

Woo!
In that case the .com shall point that way in a little bit.

david, you are amazing. we love you.

Sigh. They're not going to get the domain back.
But... I've purchased http://www.biddlebikes.com/ for them.
If anyone can contact them or get through, point them my way and I'll hand it over to them for the purchase fee. At least they will be up and running as soon as possible, and I'll give them a header link for a week to help improve their search engine placement so that they at least stand a chance at not going bust because of this.
What.a.dude.

This is better than Hollyoaks..
They can call me directly (I made sure my mobile number is on the domain details in case they do a whois, but you can also get it from the phone numbers thread) or they can email me.
Email is: david@buro9.com
