maybe they are genetically modified shrimps...

there is a difference between european and north american lobsters (both in size and quality of meat)- I am sure they have more technical names than that but can't be bothered to google it - one of you pedants can get on the case
the cheap ones are from north america/canada - pre cooked and frozen

Brixton is now confused, as the Acre Lane Aldi is selling waxed Barbour knock offs for £16, there's lots of people wandering around looking like bizarre versions of David Cameron.

and I thought they only did lidl sizes..
The stuff I've bought has been good and functional- the under the saddle bags for tubes etc are good value, they're a bit on the large size but on an MTB you need large to get a couple of tubes in there- and room for a Jetflate too.

Just ordered some of the Spanish honey for £1.99. One fifth the cost of Assos Chamois Cream and your crack smells sweet.

[/stereotypical middle-classenger downgrading from Waitrose]You may take (other people's) lives! But, you'll never take my Waitrose!

Actually Parker does Assos crack lube a bit cheaper than that... and my sphincter smells sweet already.

Aldi have some great stuff, good fit and well made - my shorts and tops are still going after 3 years.
Going to get the lights for the DD from Lidl though.

The same propstand they are selling for £2 is £8 from SJS - I have it, it's decent enough, but not for full panniers.
Still got one of those hoists I've been meaning to fit from last time... -
• #43
compost looks good too

Agreed, Aldi clothes are far superior. Aldi usually get bike stuff in a couple of weeks after Lidl.

lidl currently has some digital calipers for around £7, has anyone tried them, are they any good?
-
• #46
I got some cheapo digital calipers off eBay for around £8 delivered. They're surprisingly well made and very accurate as far as I can tell.
They look like these ones:

Woolwich, and old kent road nr Bermonsey. Post up if tyour Well Street one has them (whereever well street is).
is that genny from aldi, how much?
i ask becuase bought the same one from a garden place for £80. ended up ragging the fuck out of it running a 3k system. it ran noisy as fuck at a really high RPM, and was never quite the same after a night on said system.
with that said i would use one again, just with not as much draw. it was really light compared to other gens ive used and the fuel economy was good.
