  • I am unclear about what you mean coppithat, which parts of its set up seem half-true? ... is the existence of the hanger disconcerting? It may have been brazed on later but not necessarily.

    it is about the rear hanger and the braize ons and most likely the drilled rear bridge all reversible but they just annoy me a bit being on such a class frame. maybe the selective purist/occasional vintage snob part of me thinks that the braize ons should not be on a frame that is called a track frame. i know that frames or bicycles of this age in their day would have been dual purpose machines - ride to work, pub, shop and also raced.
    what do you think it would cost to have those braize ons removed? its my size. :-)
