• Used to have one, looked like shit, rode like an elephant and moved onto better things. If I had known about bikes what I do now I would have never have bought one.

    That's still my opinion of the bianchi pista.

    I started with that, crashed it multiple times, changed every component on it, then moved on through a variety of conversions/abortive attempts, and eventually got a low profile. I rode that, loved it, then bought a cheapish old track frame as a beater. Fell in love with the lower gear, stopped riding the low profile, sold it and bought a langster as a stand-in while I save up/bide my time for a nice swish Alu track frame.

    However, I like the langster so much that I've pretty much canned all plans to upgrade it. I think it's down to having a bike the right size, (my bianchi pista was 2cm too small).
