  • In comparison you're harmless. Dean was actually getting a bit scary there, seemed to be purposefully stalking people in a not-nice and kinda creepy way. His outbursts in the past were a bit weird too.

    Overall, just not really in the spirit of the whole forum. Fundamentally I (perhaps naively) like to imagine that there's an unwritten bond of community amongst all cyclists and that results in a basic level of respect and unity across the whole community... i.e. even if you don't think someone is your BFF, the bond of community should help prevent you from crossing the line into hating other members of the community.

    I have no personal problem with Dean, having never met or spoken to him. But his forum behaviour and the chip on his shoulder about some people just aren't compatible with staying on here.

    As always though, I think cyclists are some of the most forgiving lot in the world. If he can comprehend what a tit he's been and step back and apologise and then make real efforts just to be cool in the future... basically to rid himself of that chip on his shoulder and the beef he has with people... then I'm quite willing to let him back onto the site.
