Me and pifko was kinda taking the piss outta the fact they were commenting on the fact the guy were "drinking water via their mouth" like comments.

I've turned the sound off and checked periodically what was going on.

There was a Scott USA guy he was going on about sub 15lb aluminium/steel bikes being structurally unsound at the time they imposed the UCI regulations.

My dad had a 18lb rotrax back in 1970ish (with gears), I would have assumed between then and now they would have lowered the weight of components (even if the frame remained the same),
and it would be sub 15lb.

However hippy is right, the race is quite boring and they have had different guests speaking.

The army guy talking about his recover and finally doing a Iron Man brought me to tears and a guy did an iron man on dialysis ... both simply inspirational.

Seriously though, one guy mentioned that they take swigs of water to keep themselves hydrated.

I did not know this information. Perhaps this is the reason why I regularly faint in the street and wake up in a hospital a lot of the time.
