After some faffing on the phone & web (On-One don't have any ready-made in stock, won't for a while and they won't be £106 any more, Condor didn't really want to know on the phone), I took a trip down to Pearsons. Compared to the stock wheels that they put on the Touche (which are the same price as the Halos), the bearings on the Halos are much, much smoother. So I bought a pair. So far (OK, only a week in) I'm very happy. They feel a little heavy statically but they roll so quickly I'm able to get up to speed much more quickly and as a result am tearing my legs off where I was coasting before. Which is a good thing. After all of which, Spesh came back and gave me some spare Langster cones they had kicking around. Not sure whether to be hacked off or pleased.
Anyway, so far I think the Halos are pretty damn good. So there.
