Suggestion re: game night threads

Should we reorganise them so we have a Monday night, Tuesday night etc thread?

Might make it a bit easier to find a game...

How about one thread that is only used to post date, location, and time of polo? No other crap. Could use it with RSS. Also, I saw that VB had set up a twitter reader thingy that took stuff from the forum and put it directly up to twitter. I don't use twitter, but could be useful to some (Matt, Bill..)

I was more thinking of a way to make it easier for someone who isn't around all the time (like Yorgo) to find out where the games are at, and also for newbies to find out what the f*** is going on.

isn't the one thread what the beginners thread is about? With the random league games in the league thread?

There is a lot of crap to wade through as a beginner, but that's also part of the charm of this place... (much like the less rules ethos...)

Yeah, if someone really wanted to start playing, they'd find their way.

Although having looked a bit more, it would be good if the the south thread said "every wed and other days" and the same for the other location threads?

Just read the threads, it's not that tricky. Someone posts 'polo tonight?' in the mitchison thread, five people say 'polo!'. How hard is that to figure out? If you want to find a game you have to look in maybe 3 or 4 threads. And there's a clear thread for new players with maps and links and everything.

Bill, what's the deal? Are you starting to find it a bit difficult? If you're confused you should tell us, we can help.
