Must be the prettiest plastic bike I've seen.
Do the reds on the wheels/frame/forks match in real life, or is it photochop trickery?
Either way, very nice. -

How long do carbon chainrings last? Are they lighter than alu? Stiffer? Anything? Bueller? :)
-
• #57
lighter yes, stiffer.........not too sure on dat one der boss, but don't last as long.
weight weenies only. (so you're fucked :) -

weight weenies only. (so you're fucked :)life is pretty good. On a geared setup for road racing you'll get 2500miles which is one season. But on a fixed gear with perfect chainline, a thicker ring and no gear change stress can expect 4000 or so miles, doesn't sound much but's a few seasons of TT use so for a dedicated TT bike I reckon it's OK. Besides, no-one makes off the shelf 55T track rings, you have a choice of carbon from fibrelyte or alloy from MDT. The carbon is cheaper...

that is longer than i expected, but good as you say for doing TT's etc. those MDT's are expensive

Your bike is awesome. Clap clap. Will there come a time when kids of the future look to ebay to snap up bargain aero carbon frames? I'm looking into cryogenics.
