i clipped a dude once, but i didnt bother apologising beacuse the cunt just randomly stood half way in the "narrow" cycle lane while in a traffic jam. He had no reason for not staying in the car lane like any other tens of cars in front and behind him.
I just kept on going and didnt quite squeeze throught without that small damage to his mirror.
