Freestyle on fixed - I don't get it

I don't do tricks. I** would ask OOL, but he sent me a (public) message today saying that he never wants to speak to me again.**
As a few people have said above, trackstanding is not a trick, it's just something you need to do, and not only on fixed.
Skidding seems to me to be a useless waste of time and tyres.

Need to get me one of those.
