I have seen it from both sides - having touched a mirror and instantly apologising & getting thanked - to -
(embankment north side of Vauxhall Bridge) moving towards the right to completely clear the cycle lane - waiting at lights - then had a lovely lady barge past on her bike forcing the mirror to fold - on mentioning a certain lack of care on her part, I was given a nice mix of expletives - she was clearly having a bad day & I left it at that
