I was passed very close by a Land Rover last year and he clipped my with his wing mirror which promptly fell off into the road and smashed. Deciding that this was my fault he anchored up and opened his door shouting all manner of obscenities, I rode around him and tried to ride off only to be overtaken and pushed into the kerb. He then got out of the car and came at me with a crook lock. Fortunately I was wearing my Carbon soled roadie shoes and slipped to the floor whilst trying to dodge his swipe. I then Kicked him in the knees he beat me with the crook lock (on the helmet which I didn't wuite understand) and he left. I had his Registration and it was all caught on CCTV. He was done. Hard.
That's the case for wearing helmets i've ever heard.
