It's only a few hundred metres. I think limiting the GI is a bit much for what is essentially cocking about on a Friday night.
A low GI will get you up to speed quickly, a big one will mean you're slower off the mark, but have a better top end... Which one to choose?
Just to clarify, this is fixed gear or single speed only.
