anything wrong with evans?

Obviously there is quite a lot wrong with Evans. I am quite willing to purchase from a shop, though I doubt it would be Evans.
But, some people buy Armadillo tyres and decide they don't like them. I'm giving them an opportunity to sell them onto me. -

armidillo on front?!?
I know it's not the most comfortable, but the last time I had a puncture was November 2007.

but how many times has your front wiped out?

Only once, when I went over some oil. I go slow when it rains though.

Forget about Evans, go to Condor. I bought Armadillo with kevlar bead for £26 and in evans they have them for £33. Otherwise you are right guys, I have them on the both wheels and the are not sticky at all. But puncture protection is more important sometimes.

I have one with about 6 inches of the fabric showing, but with slideability like they have, it's hard to resist massive skids. Not sure I'd feel safe with an Armadillo on the front.

Gator Skins are nice on the front. I haven't had a puncture on the front in two years. Tomorrow it will of course happen.
I got my front wheel stolen from outside of the Pub on the Park, Hackney on Saturday. I've got a wheel sorted, but does anyone have an All-Condition armadillo tyre (or tyres) in 700 x 23 they want to sell?
I'm in East London so can pick up from anywhere within reasonable distance.
